| Bob Jones started the trend Tuesday night as he rolled his 1st career 300 game. Bob had games of 300, 225, and 223 for a season high 748 series. Bob said in practice he did not have a clue were the line was on the lane. Bob said he rolled 3 practice balls and none of them were even close to the head pin. When asked what adjustment he made when the game started Bob said, "I just got lucky and found the line on my first ball. I needed to keep it over the 2nd arrow and the ball snapped into the pocket." Bob was also asked how he felt going into the 10th frame only needing 3 more strikes for the big one. Bob said, "I was not nervous in the 10th frame. When it really hit me was after the 12th ball my legs felt like rubber." Bob will receive 2 awards from the ABC one for 700 series recognition and one for 300 game recognition. Bob has been in the zone since week 1 of the 2003-2004 season. This is the best season Bob has ever bowled since joining the PNA league. With 25 weeks of the season behind us Bob leads the league with a 207 average. Congratulations Bob!! |
